Air Force Commando

Air Force Commando is a top-down aerial combat game that puts a full squadron's responsibility on one very busy aircraft. Fly forward through layered enemy defences, strafing ground targets while dodging anti-air fire and enemy jets, because your plane banks with every input and hovering in one lane is an invitation to be shot down. Salvos of upgrades drop from destroyed targets, widening your firepower from single shots to screen-sweeping spreads, and boss aircraft arrive with attack patterns that demand pattern memory. Stages escalate quickly but fairly. A classic shooter loop, free to play in any modern browser.
